Teton Hand Surgery Accepts a wide range of insurance carriers such as PacificSource Medicare Advantage, First Choice Health Network, Blue Cross of Idaho, Tricare, Medicare, Medicaid and many other insurance carriers.

Teton Hand Surgery requests that you familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations of your insurance policy. The rules concerning insurance procedures are subject to change, and we remind you of the following:

  • That if you need a referral you should secure one before your appointment
  • Call our office or check with your insurance directory, or call your insurance company to find out if we are in-network or out-network of your insurance policy
  • It is your responsibility to know if any diagnostic testing (MRI, CT Scan, Bloodwork, medications prescribed, referrals to another specialist, pain management, physical therapy and/or occupational therapy is covered by your insurance.

If you are unsure if we are covered by your insurance you are always welcome to call our office to find out what insurance companies and plans we are currently accepting.

If you do not have insurance and are looking for an orthopedic hand surgeon we do offer some procedures on a cash basis, you can view our procedure list here. If you don’t find a procedure on the list you can still call our office to get more information.

Workers compensation

Teton Hand Surgery accepts all Workers’ Compensation Insurance including Indian Health Services.

We can help you with getting an Independent Medical Exam (IME) and with getting your disability rate for your insurance claim.

We will file workers’ compensation claims with your employer’s workers’ compensation insurance carrier.  The claim must be an open and accepted claim.  If claim is deferred, you will then be asked to provide your personal health insurance.
